A non-refundable registration fee of $50 per dancer, per year (maximum $100/family/year) is required at the time of registration for our Fall-Spring classes. Students are not fully registered without payment of their registration fee. This fee covers ASCAP music licensing fees, insurance etc.
You will receive 3-5 lessons a month. Payment is due to The Dance Conservatory by the 1st of the month, with a $20 late fee if paid after the 10th. Late fees generate automatically.
Families with three or more dancers receive a 10% discount off their monthly tuition.
Costume fees are due by October 1st and will be posted onto your account in the Parent Portal.
Christmas Classic fees are paid by the dancer at the door. Gem State fees will be applied to your account in January and are due by February 1st. Utah Classic fees (Jr/Yth Teams only) will be applied to your account in December with 1/2 being due on January 1st, and 1/2 on February 1st.
We offer multiple payment options: Auto-Pay, credit/debit card, ACH, cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal (PayPal ONLY accepted through the Parent Portal).
AUTO PAY: Our preferred method of payment is for accounts to be set up with Auto-Pay so you won’t receive any late fees. To use Auto-Pay you can sign up through your Parent Portal account and your account balance will be automatically deducted from your bank account between the 1st and 5th of each month. You can set up different options for Auto-Pay in your Parent Portal and select the preferred method for payment (credit/debit or ACH). You can change this at any time. All credit/debit card payments will accrue a 4% convenience fee. ACH payments will accrue a 0.75% convenience fee.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: You can make payments through your Parent Portal at any time using your credit/debit card. All card payments will accrue a 4% convenience fee.
ACH: You can make payments through your Parent Portal at any time using your checking/savings account. All ACH payments will accrue a 0.75% convenience fee.
Venmo: @danceconservatory Please specify who and what it’s for so the payment can be correctly applied to your account.
PAYPAL: You can make payments through your Parent Portal at any time using PayPal. PayPal payments will only be accepted through the Parent Portal. All PayPal transactions incur a 2.7% convenience fee.
CASH/CHECK: You can put payments in the tuition box inside the studio, but please make sure cash is put in an envelope labeled with your dancer’s name and what the payment is for. Please note that late fees generate automatically on your account. If paying with check or cash PLEASE make sure we receive your payment on or before the 1st of the month so it can be posted to your account before late fees are applied. You can mail checks to us at:

Any money paid towards registration fees, tuition, costume fees, competition fees, dance wear, etc. is non-refundable. However, dancers are placed on teams on a space-available basis and we might not have spots available for all the girls hoping to dance. Girls can register and pay their registration fee, then if we’re not able to offer a spot or shared spot on a team we’ll refund her registration fee within the first two weeks of class in the fall.
