11:00-12:00 Lunch break – you can bring a sack lunch to eat in the studio or you can go out to lunch
12:00 We’ll announce who we’ll need to see dance more. **Please have a ride available at 12:00 if we don’t need you to stay.
12:15-1:30 Second session
*Everyone needs to be registered for the 2024-2025 dance season with your registration fee paid before Team Placement Day. You should register for the team(s) you’d LIKE to be on to give us an idea of what team(s) you’d prefer. After the placement day is over and team lists are posted I’ll adjust the classes in everyone’s Parent Portal accounts as necessary. Girls that are new to our studio are required to register with a boy that’s also new to our studio, of similar age and ability level. (Ages 13-17 for Jr/Yth)
*Since our teams are formation teams with set choreography and set numbers of boys and girls, dancers need to be committed for the full dance season from the first of September through the end of April and have regular team attendance.
WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR FOR TEAM PLACEMENT DAY:
*Bring a water bottle, snacks, and a sack lunch.
*Please wear your syllabus clothes as outlined below. If a dancer is new you can wear the closest things you have. You shouldn’t buy new things just for the placement day, we’ll help you order what you’ll need for team at the ordering day in the fall.
BOYS: White long sleeved church shirt, any color tie or bowtie, Latin pants/black pants, black socks, ballroom shoes. If your ballroom shoes are too small or if you don’t have any you can wear tennis shoes or church shoes.
GIRLS: Hair in a bun, black leotard with short or long sleeves (no spaghetti straps, tank, or halter top), black knee length skirt, black trunks, tan tights, fishnets, ballroom shoes. If your ballroom shoes are too small or if you don’t have any you can wear tennis shoes or church shoes that don’t fall off.
